I write everything in scrivener. For projects that have more than 4 outline elements, I’ll put some effort into setting up the scrivener project. Last Sunday half a plot seized me for a story I knew I’d write someday. That half was complicated enough I started outlining and setting up the scriv project. Monday I finished the outline.
Someday… this will be a story. Hopefully that day will be August 1st ;)
